How to take care of amber jewellery?
Original and precious amber jewelry needs to be refreshed from time to time to preserve its perfect look. A simple yet effective way to clean amber nuggets is to use water with soap. Amber should be gently wiped with a soft, damp cloth, and then wiped dry with another soft cloth. When cleaning, but also during everyday use of our jewellery and amber wine stoppers you need to be careful not to soak them completely in water. Contact with water causes the nuggets to tarnish and turn gray. If the water with soap was not enough, you can use rectified alcohol to remove the stains and just like with the water and soap, wipe each piece of amber separately. After the jewellery has been wiped dry it can be polished with olive oil or cosmetic oils.
