Amber jewelry conquers fashion shows

What else don't you know about amber? Probably that it is successfully conquering European - and even world - fashion catwalks. This is an unquestionable success of Polish designers of modern jewelry and fashion designers presenting an innovative look at amber, among others, during Fashion Week.

Is it really amber?

Also from my own experience, I know that wherever amber appears, there it always evokes reactions of positive surprise. How is this possible? Well, both in Poland and abroad, although amber is known, it is actually unknown. A paradox? Not necessarily. The world knows its traditional face, while the modern one is already less or even not at all. Meanwhile, in Poland we have really great designers - both of jewelry in general and jewelry with Baltic amber in particular. Jewelry that can delight the fashion world - always eager for new trends, new emotions and new discoveries. So amber is perfect for this - surprise effect guaranteed!

Amber fashion show at Satisfashion Roma

This was once again confirmed by the participation of well-known Polish designers Aleksander Gliwinski and Ireneusz Glaza at Satisfahion Roma in July this year. They emphasized that there was no end to the questions about "this delightful stone". A stone is a stone, but - let's not kid ourselves - if it weren't for the two gentlemen's great ideas for modern, eye-catching settings for it, it would be difficult to get so much admiration. Absolutely the role of clothing designers cannot be overlooked either - for jewelry is not just a fashion accessory, but actually an integral part of an outfit. This is exactly how Aleksander Gliwinski, who has been creating joint jewelry + fashion collections with Magdalena Arlukiewicz for years, approaches it - pay attention to how consistent the silhouettes on their joint shows are!

Spectacular amber dress

Speaking of outfits, it's impossible not to highlight the spectacular amber gown by Diana Walkiewicz, which she has so far presented in Dubai, Shanghai, Japan, Las Vegas and Moscow, among others. Needless to say, she wowed everywhere? The designer embellished her black tulle gown with, among other things, flat-cut amber stones in various shades of color. I'll anticipate questions right away: no, it does not remain solely a show decoration, and yes, it can be worn comfortably, as it is lightweight.

Amber a permanent guest at Fashion Week?

So far, modern jewelry with amber by Polish designers has appeared on the catwalks of Fashion Weeks many times, including in Rome, Milan, Berlin, Monte Carlo and Dubai. And as a delighted audience is reason enough to receive an invitation to more fashion runways, we can expect this list of cities to grow longer.
